I ♥ Faces: Fix it Friday

This was a lot of fun to play with. The little boy looks tired, but he’s had a full day of play at the beach. I love the beach and I love that feeling of heavy tiredness you get at the end of the day. So here’s the original:

And here is my color edit:

After that I had a little fun :). Coffeeshop’s Golden Vintage:

Coffeeshop’s Vintage News:

And the Vintage News edit inside a vintage frame:

Oh, and just because it’s new to me and lots of fun, one fake polaroid from Rollip:

So head on over to I ♥ Faces and try your hand at this edit. It’s a lot of fun! I promise!!!

ETA Noiseware information: I did use Noiseware :). I used the Community version which is free. You can find it here: Noiseware. Scroll all the way to the bottom to download it. You have to save your edited picture, open it in Noiseware and run the strength you want (I used portrait). Then save the filtered file. I pull it back into PSE5 and layer it on top of the edited file. Then change the opacity to about 87% to bring back some of the detail. I hope that helps!

Looking at your pictures again, I'm wondering how you got his face so smooth. Did you run an action? I would love to know how you did it. Take care!

Your color edit is awesome! Did you use Portraiture or Noiseware by chance? They look really great. :)

Wow, you did a great job on those! The golden one is my absolute favorite. Thanks for sharing the tips of how you did these, I'm going to check those out for some of my pictures :).

I like the vintage news the best since it uses the noise in the photo well.
