The Daily Digi: More With Four

I love challenges like this. The Daily Digi's awesomeness continues unabated. This month's More With Four challenge highlights some of the way cool products from this month's Digi Files. And here is my response to the challenge:



Club Cool used to have a polar bear entrance with lots of fake ice and waves of cool air blowing. They've taken that part down but left the awesome freebie Coke drinks, LOL. They don't taste good to me, but it's still a nice place for a break.

At heart I'm a scrapbooker,

but sometimes I just take pictures for the pure pleasure of it. I'll put on my macro lens (Sigma 105mm) and just go play. Sometimes I'll take a portrait of DD, sometimes it's just whatever falls inside my viewfinder. Weeds seem to make some of the best subjects. This is one of my current favorites:

If My Heart had Wings ...

Shutter Sisters had a post today about taking "flying" pictures. We love to do this at my house! It's fun to make the impossible happen inside my camera. DD loves to "fly" and to be a ghost, too :).

Here's one of my favorites, DD flying in front of Spaceship Earth at EPCOT. We need to do more of these!

I immediately thought of this picture. I took it in Atlanta August, 2005 with my little point and shoot digital camera.

Wishing for summer.

Shutter Sisters must live in a place much more northerly than I. While we have warmer temperatures and nary a flurry of snow, there are still summer things that I miss. I'm really looking forward to handpicking blueberries again this year.
